Webb/Wilson-Now that you have had an opportunity to write 2 newspaper articles, your job will be to take apart a news article of your choice. Find an article of interest and take apart the pieces-what is the headline, byline, location? What is the W5-1H? What are the supporting details? Organize your extraction of information into the same format that has been presented to you in class. Be prepared to share your news article in class!
Banke/Kurchak - After running the Beep Test for a second time, how does your progress reflect our year-long inquiry question of perseverance, triumph, achievement, and failure? Write a paragraph (either on a Google Doc or paper) and return it by Tuesday, March 21st.

Your task, find one specific dance that is done at a Pow Wow. What nation is it connected to? What is the story behind it? This is to be completed in your red HLE and due Tuesday, January 24th.

Ask your family to tell you about a time in YOUR life ( when you were little up until now) when you had a difficult time learning something new and they noticed how you worked hard and were able to persevere. This needs to be recorded in your red homework journal in complete sentences and paragraph form.
